Tourism in Alaska
Alaska surprises the traveller with its imposing landscapes, plenary sessions
of colorful beauty and. In Alaska the tourist can visit: the city of Anchorage,
where it is possible to be crossed footpaths, to sight vixens, elk and eagles,
to cross galleries of native art, to have dinner in luxury restaurants, and to
enjoy, in autumn and winter, of the natural spectacle of the aurora borealis;
the National Park Katmai (Katmai National Park), in which is the greater
concentration of brown bears of the world; the McKinley mount, that with its
6,194 meters on the level of the sea is the highest point of North America; the
gorgeous fiords of Kenai, that can be visited approaching a boat in Anchorage,
Seward or the port of Homer; the peninsula of Kenai, with its leafy vegetation;
the Mat-His valley, place setting of cultures; and the islands Aleutianas,
archipelago of located volcanic origin to the southwest of Alaska. Alaska is, in
addition, an ideal destiny for the lovers of the fishing, the ski (winter and
summer), the long walks and the races of sleighs thrown by dogs.
