To take into account: Oceanía abarca cientos de islas, la mayoría de ellas muy pequeñas. En este mapa aparecen sólo las de mayor tamaño y aquellas en las que se encuentran ciudades capitales de países independientes. La isla ubicada al este de Australia llamada Nueva Caledonia, que dejamos de color gris oscuro, pertenece a Francia. La mitad occidental de la isla de Nueva Guinea, del mismo color, pertenece a Indonesia. La pequeña isla pintada de color rojo (al noreste de las de color amarillo) corresponde a un estado independiente que pasa por ser el único del mundo que no tiene capital.

Tourism in Oceania
